When I Have a Mouth

From the album Caring Gunk, released September 2003

Each line has five syllables except for the third verse, each line has six syllables. Then I just wrote words to fit that definition. I played the Irish tin whistle in this one.

Lyrics

When I have a mouth
Full of energy
I begin to fall,
Or begin to see.

Mustard is my mas-
ter and I will call
on him when I find
the time or a ball.

Please don't take me home now
There is so much I want
To do and I have still
A desire to lunch.

Now the day is done,
It's time for me to
go. Farewell, good-bye,
Been nice being with.
